The Bethany Parks Committee (BPC), mandated by the Bethany City Charter, is charged with enhancing the vitality of the city’s 12 parks. The committee is comprised of City Council members and citizens of Bethany. This mission includes development of each park’s attributes, beauty and equipment, facilitation of activities and unique events and focus on creating and maintaining inviting safe spaces for community.
#VisitBethanyParks is a newly launched campaign of the Bethany Parks Committee built on the vision of “New Adventures. Everyday Fun”. Starting with a month-long initiative, April 15th- May 30th The Parks Passport Contest & Event Tour, gives everyone plenty of reason to visit the parks and plenty of chances to win great prizes! This is a privately funded event, sponsored by local Bethany businesses and civic organizations who know the success of the Parks Passport & Event Tour is OUR success.
